Marketing Manager Acquisitions – Up to 12 months Parental Leave Contract

Commencing February 2014, our Marketing Manager – Acquisition will lead a team of two marketing professionals and work amongst our supportive marketing and business development department in amazing offices in Surry Hills. You’ll report to our Chief Marketing Officer in a role designed to support the organisation’s strategic goals of service, growth and retention across potential new members.
What will I actually be doing?
In this 12-month Parental Leave Contract Position, you will be rolling up your sleeves to be the person responsible for providing end-to-end tactical marketing plans and activities that drive acquisition growth of sales. Leading a team of two, your area of the business will develop and deliver clever and integrated external campaigns, continuously identify product markets and direct sales opportunities, track and monitor outcomes against budgets.

Firstly by demonstrating to us that you bring with you 10+ years relevant acquisition marketing experience at a senior level including:
- demonstrated senior marketing leadership experience
- a strong track record in delivering integrated end-to-end direct though to mainstream marketing communications and brand communications
- demonstrated strategic marketing experience
- demonstrated end-to-end mainstream marketing through to direct marketing campaign skills focused on acquisition in highly competitive consumer markets
- demonstrated capability in data driven marketing planning, implementation, tracking and measurement, analytics and review
- developed writing and editing skills
- demonstrated project management skills
- a strong understanding of web and online technologies
- experience in on-line metrics and reporting including Google Analytics
- demonstrated experience in the Australian Private Health Insurance industry would be highly regarded
- a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience in marketing.

Depending on experience, a total package of approx $145K (pro-rated), laptop, iPad, mobile phone and 6-weeks annual leave (pro-rated) will be on offer.
NOTE: This is a full-time Parental Leave Position commencing February 2014. The actual length of the contract is anticipated to be 12-months but the period could be shorter or longer. We anticipate a hand-over at the commencement of the contract of approximately 2-4 weeks.
