Richmond Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Win a Flight Centre voucher worth $1,200, one (1) of two (2) pairs of Maui Jim Sunglasses to the value of $400 each or a Gourmet Hamper from Richmond Hill Cafe & Larder worth $200.

  1. Offer commences 8:30am (AEST), 2 December 2013 and ends 5:30pm (AEST), 31 January 2014.
  2. This offer is only available to patrons of Teachers Health Fund’s Richmond Health Centre, who make a purchase or who receive a service between 2 December 2013 and 31 January 2014.
  3. The prize draw will be promoted to all current members of Teachers Health Fund within a select postcode range, for which the Fund has a viable address and who have not opted-out of receiving marketing communication. This will also be promoted to the general public in store and through flyers.
  4. During the promotion period patrons will receive one entry for any purchase they make or service they receive in store. Entries for purchases are received per transaction. Multiple entries for visits to one service are excluded. However, patrons can receive multiple entries if they use different services during this time. For example, one entry for a dental service and one for a physiotherapy service.
  5. Eligible members who join Teachers Health Fund during the promotion period at the Richmond Health Centre will receive two entries into the competition when they join in store.
  6. There will be four (4) winners drawn from one (1) prize draw. First place winner will receive one (1) Flight Centre voucher worth $1,200, two (2) second prize winners will receive one (1) of two (2) pairs of Maui Jim Sunglasses to the value of $400. Third place will win one (1) gourmet hamper from Richmond Hill Cafe & Larder worth $200. The total value of the prize draw is $2,200.
  7. The prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash, or other incentives.
  8. The prize draw will be held at Teachers Health Centre Richmond, 52 Bridge Road, Richmond VIC 3121 at 9:00am (AEST), 3rd February 2014. At the prize draw four (4) prizes of either one (1) Flight Centre voucher worth $1,200, two (2) pairs of Maui Jim Sunglasses to the value of $400 and one (1) gourmet hamper from Richmond Hill Cafe & Larder worth $200 will be drawn by the Health Centre Manager, or their representative.
  9. The winners of the prize draw will be notified in writing and published in The Age on Tuesday 4th February 2014.
  10. Should a prize remain unclaimed, the redraw date is scheduled for 9:00am (AEST) 3rd May 2014. The winner of the prize draw will be notified in writing.
  11. Directors, managers and staff of Teachers Health Fund and their immediate families are not eligible to be entered into the prize draw.
  12. The promoter is Teachers Federation Health Ltd ABN 86 097 030 414 trading as Teachers Health Centre.

How rebate tiers workX

Most Australians with private health insurance currently receive a rebate from the Australian Government to help cover the cost of their premiums. The private health insurance rebate is income tested. The table below details the different rebate amounts and Medicare Levy Surcharge levels.

The rebate applies to hospital, general treatment and ambulance policies. It does not apply to overseas visitors cover. The rebate levels applicable for 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014 are:
