The best part about working within the Education Community is the people. I love talking to people who work in education as I find them down-to-earth, friendly and always quick with a one-liner. Salt-of-the-earth people is how I would best describe them.

Having previously been a teacher for 26 years I am rather familiar with the school environment. As a result it is always a pleasure to engage and interact with teachers and administrators within the Education Community. My experience also enables me to have an understanding of the pressures associated with being a teacher and the need for flexibility.
The opportunity also arises for me to catch up with former colleagues and associates as well as some former students who have gone on to pursue a career in teaching. The most difficult part is getting the former students to refer to me as ‘Brian’, rather than ‘Mr Jones’ (old habits die hard!)

I enjoy working within the education community as it offers many rewards, benefits and experiences. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and warm and they are open to new opportunities that are made available to them.

Working with the education community allows me to interact and help those who work hard to change and shape students’ lives. I enjoy meeting teachers and providing them with the information they need to make the best private health insurance choice.

Working with the education community has been extremely rewarding. I enjoy the opportunity of visiting people in their workplaces, introducing them to our products and services and discussing the best health insurance options that suit their needs.

Having spent the past 20 years working both as a teacher and in other roles assisting schools and junior sporting groups, I have a great understanding of the needs of a vast range of sectors within the education community. I look forward to meeting new people each day and helping them make the right decision when it comes to private health insurance.

The education community is an enjoyable space to work in. Staff are friendly, workplaces are fun and with a large family currently going through the education system, it’s interesting to see what happens behind the scenes! The education community has people with values, standards and compassion for others, which I feel are values that are mirrored in our organisation.

As custodians of our future I value the work teachers do with our children. This is why I love working within the education community. I enjoy meeting teachers every day and seeing those who have been teaching in schools for many years, who remain highly dedicated to their task.

Members of the education community dedicate their time and resources to support and care for children. I enjoy assisting teachers to make informed decisions about their private health cover. This is my small way of giving something back to them.
